Welcome to ClayWrites

balloons floating into skyConsider this a virtual welcome mat, nay, a digital red carpet. I’m excited to roll it out as this is a new start for me on the web. Happy to have you here at ClayWrites, my personal blog.

This space feels so naked in all its tabula rasaficaton. I’m sure we’ll fill in some pages before too long. For now, I’m just glad to  be back in the blogging world. This time around will be much different than the stuff I’ve done in years past. Most of all, I’m more focused now.

But I’ve been around long enough to know how boring these inaugural “Hey I started a blog!” posts are. I’ve written lots of new content that is on its way. You can head on over to my Contact page to learn how to keep up with future posts. Another option is to find out a little about me on the About page.

Thanks for being here.

He’s back! Sending you a Canadian slap on the back. Or 3 maple leaves, which are more valuable than three Maple Leafs.

Thanks! One of the things about launching a new site is working out kinks. Like hard to read comments. I’ll be tweaking.

Congrats on the book and the new blog site, Clay! I’m looking forward to what you’ll be coming up with here. Good to see you back!

If you’re looking for topic suggestions, I think you’d be the perfect guy to start a discussion about the trend of combining “sacred cows” and irreverent pop culture interpretations: Abe Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies are two examples that immediately come to mind. (Apologies to Jane Austen and Mr. President for calling them cows).

    Catch ya around the blogosphere!

Yup Kathy, that’s right up my alley. Maybe more than you would believe!

Ahh, coffee time will have meaning again or sleepless nights will find humor again! Either way, I’m SO glad you’re back!
~ sorry this comment is so late. I couldn’t view them or leave one until now.
