In Memoriam 2012

December 31, 2012 — 2 Comments

I always enjoy the part of the Academy Awards when they remember all the Hollywood people who died in the past year. This isn’t quite like that.

It’s fascinating how famous people intersect our lives in various ways. Then when they die our fast-moving news cycle only has a few hours to remember them. This post features a number of notable people who died this past year but not before somehow making a positive impact on me. Maybe they were inspirations or somehow impacted culture. Or maybe they just did some interesting stuff.

Jack Klugman. I watched a lot of Odd Couple reruns as a kid, which I liked a lot better than Quincy.

I didn’t realize he died Larry. I remember that show Quincy being on a good bit when I was little. And definitely the Odd Couple!
