I always enjoy the part of the Academy Awards when they remember all the Hollywood people who died in the past year. This isn’t quite like that.
It’s fascinating how famous people intersect our lives in various ways. Then when they die our fast-moving news cycle only has a few hours to remember them. This post features a number of notable people who died this past year but not before somehow making a positive impact on me. Maybe they were inspirations or somehow impacted culture.
