Hustler, Westboro & Lent

February 21, 2013 — 1 Comment

Matt, JR., and myself have been at The StoryMen Podcast now for a couple months and are starting to establish something we really like.

Like JJ Abrams and Star Wars, we’ve just released Episode VII, albeit on a slightly smaller budget than Disney’s newest toy.

In this episode we discuss:

  • Why we missed a Valentine’s Day show
  • The 25th anniversary of Hustler versus Jerry Falwell
  • Shakeups in the strange world of Westboro Baptists
  • The Pope calling it quits
  • Lent and more

You’re cordially invited to, wait a second, why in the world do we call cherry-filled chocolates “cordial cherries”? That’s kind of a stupid way to describe a sweet, as if it’s friendly.

Anyway, you are cordially invited to join us for what may be my favorite episode of the StoryMen yet.

STORYMEN EPISODE 7: THE NOT VALENTINE’S DAY SHOW

We will also be grateful if you would check us out in iTunes where you can really help us by rating and subscribing the the podcast.

Finally, if you think video kills the internet radio star, go ahead and watch the footage from our live feed*.

We’d love to hear from you about your thoughts on anything we discuss as well as future topics you’d like to hear more about. The easiest way to connect is by liking our page on Facebook.

*Not live anymore though because we’re currently not really there.

Great fun!! Downton Abbey/Walking Dead sounds good, and yes, it should be on your never miss tv shows list. :)
